Chelsea Handler Quits ‘Chelsea,’ Plans to Work on a Documentary for Netflix: ‘My Goal Is to Be Better Informed’

Chelsea Handler took to social media to announce that she has decided not to return for another season of her Netflix show, ‘Chelsea.’

In her announcement, Chelsea cites the fallout from the past presidential election as her motivation to focus on more meaningful programming.

After leaving E! in 2014, Chelsea struck a major deal to bring her re-formatted show to Netflix.

Despite quitting ‘Chelsea,’ she says she’ll continue working with Netflix on a documentary and that her current show will continue to air until later this year.
