Ahead of Valentine’s Day this Sunday, American rapper Cardi B’s advice to women across the globe has caused chaos on the TL. Cardi took to Twitter to reveal what she thinks women should do for their men one the lover’s day.

Cardi B has a very specific philosophy about the Valentine’s Day dynamic between a man and a woman.
The “Up” rapper took to Twitter on February 12 to address the negative feedback she received for an earlier tweet. Yesterday, Cardi made a bold statement about the gift-giving ritual for the lover’s holiday. She said that men do deserve a gift… as long as it is less expensive than the woman’s gift. Her opinion caused quite the stir in the Twitterverse, so much so that she was forced to elaborate on her statement.
The “WAP” artist shouted her controversial opinion at the top of the social media mountain on February 11, just days before the holiday.
“Yes ! Men do deserve to get gift as well for Valentine’s Day,” she tweeted, “but the gift have to be less expensive then [sic] the girls gift. Soo if he buys you flowers you buy him grass.”
While many people saw the wisdom in Cardi’s words, others blasted the star and called her a hypocrite for spending $600,000 on a Lamborghini for Offset’s 29th birthday.
“Not these women taking advice from someone whose husband bought her a $330k Rolls Royce, then she bought him a $700k Lamborghini. Lmfaoooooo,” a salty follower commented.

The “Up” artist followed up yesterday’s tweet with another where she explained how her theory applies to her personal life as well.
“Ok so due to my Vday tweet men came on my Twitter roasting me sayin ‘but you bought your man a lambo but remember…I got 550K ring on my left hand, 400k ring on my right, Thousands of dollars In Birkins, soo much jewelry, a lambo truck and rollsRoyce truck ..so we even in gifts.”
She continued to give other examples of appropriate gift levels. “If you buy her thousand dollars Louboutin heels she should buy you a ps5 that’s around 550$. It’s fair.” She ended her small Twitter rant by calling those who opposed her position a name.
“Now if you think your gift should cost more then [sic] ur girl gift you are just a bitch.”

She realizes that a $600,000 Lamborgini doesn’t fit into everybody’s financial plan, so she gave a pretty straight forward answer to what a woman should get a man if he sticks with the traditional gifts.
“Everything is about your budget,” she explained, “sooo if you take your girl to dinner, flowers and chocolate you shouldn’t really get much back but some head and p—y.”
We think that most men would be more than satisfied if their significant others bought into the flowers and chocolate conversion example!

Moral of the story, act your wage. Don’t get yourself in debt trying to show off to people who don’t know you i.e. social media. As long as your significant other is happy that’s all that matters.
