Cardi B’s publicist always has her back — and Cardi is now returning the favor.
While Cardi was walking through Sydney Airport in Australia on Sunday paparazzi and fans got the best of her.
An older woman asked for a photo, but Cardi wasn’t in the mood and covered her face.
When Cardi didn’t agree to her photo request, the woman blurted out a rude comment addressing Cardi and her recent breakup with Offset. “No wonder your husband left ya,” shouted the woman.
Cardi’s publicist, Patientce, got in the woman’s face and snapped.
“Bitch, I’ll smack the shit out ya,” she told the woman. “Don’t ever come out your mouth about her motherfuckin’ husband… Watch your mouth!”
Cardi later took to Instagram Live to address the incident:
“This old lady keep asking me for a picture… I’m literally covering my face,” she said. “Then she says something rude, disrespectful to me, like, ‘Oh, that’s why your husband cheated on you.’ And that’s when my publicist got in her face.”
Cardi continued to defend Patientce:
“She acted like she was so scared, like a victim—’Oh my God, oh my God!’ This the type of shit that people be doing and then when cards be getting called, we be looking like fucking animals, bro…because people provoke you and say crazy things.”
