Angelina Jolie revealed earlier today that she had undergone an elective double mastectomy after learning she had a gene predisposing her to breast cancer. In her open letter to The New York Times, she cited Brad as being by her side every step of the way.
In a response to The Standard, Pitt says he finds Angie’s choice to be ‘heroic.
“Having witnessed this decision firsthand, I find Angie’s choice, as well as so many others like her, absolutely heroic. I thank our medical team for their care and focus. All I want for is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children. This is a happy day for our family.”
