Blac Chyna Says She’s Not Suing the Kardashian-Jenners for Clout

Blac Chyna testified in court she is not suing the Kardashian-Jenners for clout and maintained she and Rob were still together when their reality show was canceled — despite a declaration she ‘split’ from Rob months before.

After a full day testifying in a Los Angeles court Wednesday, Chyna faced a confrontational Michael Rhodes — the veteran attorney representing Kim and Khloé Kardashian and Kris and Kylie Jenner — who grilled the former model about her reasons for filing the multimillion dollar lawsuit.

When Rhodes asked Chyna if she sued the family for a “publicity stunt,” the model quickly responded, “No, not at all.”

“You can benefit from this,” Rhodes said, his loud voice echoing in the courtroom.

“No, not at all,” a visibly frustrated Chyna replied. “That’s why I want a fair trial. This is why I’m doing this right now.”

Chyna, 33, is suing the four women for more than $100 million in damages for defamation and interfering with her contract, which she claims caused the cancellation of the “Rob & Chyna” show after one successful season.

During his opening statement on Tuesday, Rhodes said network executives with E! and NBCUniversal decided to pull the plug on the show because the relationship between Rob and Chyna became too toxic, and they had already separated.

During her nearly six-hour testimony, Chyna admitted that her connection with the Kardashian-Jenner family was complicated — her ex Tyga started dating Kylie Jenner in 2014, and two years later, she would be engaged to Rob Kardashian.

There was “a lot of cheating” on Tyga’s part, which caused the breakup, Chyna said. “[The relationship] stopped when Kylie started dating Tyga, my fiancé at the time,” she said.

During cross-examination, Rhodes asked, “Do you have a grudge against Kylie Jenner? She took your boyfriend!”

Chyna sighed at the question and replied, “I have no ill will against none of the ladies, actually.”

Khloé, Kim, Kylie and Kris, who sat in the front row and behind their attorney, remained motionless and silent throughout most of Chyna’s  testimony.

Aspiring lawyer Kim, who was dressed in a tailored tan suit and white sneakers, scribbled messages on a pad and periodically passed it back to a member of her legal team who sat directly behind her.

When asked during cross-examination if she had tried to file an application to trademark the name “Kardashian,” Chyna said Rob told her to “go ahead” because “they were going to get married anyway.”

Chyna said the trademark was never filed after her former attorney suggested it initially.
Rhodes also questioned Chyna about an incident on Dec. 14, 2016, when Chyna pulled a gun on Rob while they were staying at Kylie’s home.

Chyna had testified she was “just joking” when she pointed a gun at Rob’s head, but during cross-examination, Chyna said the barrel was pointed upward and she never had her finger on the trigger.

“Under oath, you are denying pointing the gun,” Rhodes asked.

“Because I didn’t point the gun at him,” Chyna replied.

Chyna also said she did not violently pull an iPhone wire cord around Rob’s neck as Rhodes re-enacted in front of the jury on Tuesday.

“You placed a cord on his neck,” Rhodes asked.

“Yes,” Chyna said.

“The cord was touching the skin,” Rhodes asked, to which Chyna replied yes.

“That was a joke,” the veteran attorney asked in disbelief.

“Yeah, it was a joke,” Chyna said as she tried to remain composed.

Rhodes continued to grill the model about when she and Rob officially ended the relationship. Chyna testified that while she moved out on Dec. 15, 2016, after the heated fight with Rob, they continued to remain as a couple into the next year.

When Rhodes pulled up a declaration where Chyna stated she and Rob broke up in December 2016, the model tried to backtrack her statement.

“No, the relationship did not end in 2016 … we were still engaged,” Chyna said. “I ‘split,’ meaning I left Kylie’s house. … Yes, we were still 100 percent engaged.”

Rhodes will continue his cross-examination of Chyna later today.
