Being Mary Jane season three is premiering earlier than expected (on October 20 with an earlier airtime of 9 p.m.), and when it returns, it will have an added dose of star power.

Emmy winner Loretta Devine and Jill Scott will guest star during the BET drama’s third season.

Loretta will play Cecilia, the woman whose car was hit by Mary Jane’s during the final seconds of season two’s jaw-dropping finale, while Jill will play Niecy’s mom.
