The coronavirus outbreak has disrupted plans across the world, but one couple decided they weren’t letting the pandemic completely ruin their special day.
In a video posted to Twitter by 80s R&B singer singer Tony Terry (best known for his hit “With You”), a bride and groom had just finished getting married in a socially-distanced ceremony in Rhodes Jordan Park in Lawrenceville, GA.
According to Tony, the wedding consisted of just the bride, groom, and the officiant.
As he witnessed the moment, he asked the couple if he could sing for their first dance — and they agreed.
Watch the special moment unfold below.
We were walking in Rhodes Jordan park today
socially distancing ourselves of course
and we see a couple getting married
It was just the two of them and the officiant
I asked if I could sing for their first dance and they danced while I sang to them.It was great pic.twitter.com/tqOeXiMAcH
