Beyonce sings National Anthem live at press conference, admits lip-synching

We can put the speculation to rest now that we know that Beyoncé did in fact lip-sync during the Presidential Inauguration.

While she wasn’t completely silent during the performance, she admitted that due to lack of preparation time she “decided to sing along with the prerecorded track.”

“I did not feel comfortable taking a risk,” she said.

We all know that Beyoncé can indeed sing the song live, and she proved it to the world earlier today during the Super Bowl Halftime Show press conference where she sang the National Anthem completely live.
