Matt Dallas, the star of the former ABC Family show ‘Kyle XY’ (remember, he had no belly button!?) has officially come out as a gay man; and in a big way. The 30 year old star announced his engagement on Twitter, and in doing so, confirmed the long-running rumors that he was gay.
Matt tweeted:
“Starting off the year with a new fiancé, Blue Hamilton. A great way to kick off 2013!”
The announcement was accompanied by a photo of Hamilton lounging on a couch with a dog. Brandon “Blue” Hamilton is a 25 year old music producer who has previously worked with Justin Bieber, and received a Grammy nod for his song with the 18-year old. Matt had been rumored to be gay, even being romantically linked to actor Jonathan Bennet (Aaron Samuels from Mean Girls) a few years ago.
Congratulations to Matt for coming out, and congratulations to the happy couple on their engagement!
