Today just isn’t Nicki Minaj’s day.
Minutes after Remy Ma put Nicki in her crosshairs and dropped the most vicious diss track we’ve heard in quite some time, a Kmart account took to Twitter to announce that they’ve dropped Nicki’s clothing line.
The initial tweet announcing the drop came from the @KmartFashions account — so at first we thought someone was simply trolling for attention.
Due to a dramatic decrease in sales, Nicki Minaj's clothing line will soon be discontinued. Items are now 50% off. https://t.co/vJpHTefpoR pic.twitter.com/Is1fOqWxyQ

However, the brand’s official Twitter account responded to a fan confirming the news.
Well played, Kmart.
Update: The official Kmart page has since deleted their response tweet and issued another one, declaring that the @Kmartfashions page is not affiliated with their brand.
.@kmartfashions is not affiliated w/ @kmart. We're proud of the partnership w/ Nicki Minaj & great products brought to members & her fans

HOWEVER — a representative from Kmart issued a statement to Billboard confirming that Nicki’s line has been discontinued and their partnership has come to an end.
“Kmart is thrilled that we were the first retail partner to create a custom apparel line for Nicki Minaj,” a rep for Kmart tells Billboard. “From the development of the line, to showcasing it in stores, to designing exclusive capsule collections, we have enjoyed a positive relationship with Nicki Minaj and her team over the last three years. As our partnership came to a close in 2016, we would like to thank Nicki Minaj for being a great partner and wish her continued success in her future endeavors.”
To sum everything up — Nicki’s clothing line has been discontinued at Kmart, but it was discontinued prior to @KmartFashions’ fake tweet.
