We already know Nicki Minaj delayed her new single “Anaconda” — but what we don’t know is exactly why.
Everyone assumed it was so that “Anaconda” didn’t conflict with promotion for her newly-released collaboration “Bang Bang” with Ariana Grande & Jessie J….but word on the Internet is that Nicki pushed back the release to incorporate a feature from Beyoncé!

Last December, the Beyhive and Barbs were whispering that Bey’s management company Parkwood Entertainment had confirmed that Bey and Nicki were in the booth working on a new tune for Nicki. Now, HipHopWired reports that the hold-up is due to Mrs. Carter dropping a new single co-starring the YMCMB rapstress, according to an industry source.
Other rumors suggest that not only is Beyoncé jumping on Nicki’s single, but Nicki is allegedly working on a remix to Beyoncé’s “***Flawless” as well.
Only time will tell, but if a Nicki/Bey collaboration is really happening then prepare for the Internet to go nuts!
