Tyler the Creator appeared on BET’s 106 and Park and got himself into a bit of trouble after saying some rather rude things about Iggy Azalea.
Tyler was asked to marry, kiss, or diss one of three ladies – Rita Ora, M.I.A., and Iggy Azalea.
He chose to ‘diss’ Iggy, saying “I don’t want Iggy. She stink. She got shots in her dump. I want real booty, ya feel me?”
Once Iggy caught word of the comments, she popped back in Twitter,
“Tyler the creator is beyond immature. I’ve always believed you had something more to offer the world, Shame to see you be so rude,” she tweeted. “People that make enemies and talk shit about ppl they’ve never even said hi to trip me out. I see it all the time… Strange world.”
Tyler then put the blame on his ‘Loiter Squad’ character.
In case you were wondering, Tyler and his Odd Future crew were at 106 promoting Tyler’s new Adult Swim show ‘Loiter Squad’ and they each dressed up in character to mock rappers.
“@IGGYAZALEA BABY GIRL THAT WASNT ME I DONT DRESS LIKE THAT WHATCHU TALKIN BOUT?” he said.
Iggy responded, “
“Do ya thing, get your promo no skin off my back. the energy you put out is what you eventually get back…doesn’t effect me.”
Tyler later issued an apology.
“@IGGYAZALEA DEADASS I APOLOGIZE THO I DIDNT THINK PEOPLE WOULD TAKE THAT SERIOUS HAHA… IGGY I DIDNT MEAN TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS,” he told her.
