Okay, she doesn’t actually hate Cookie.
Empire‘s colossal first season wrapped last month, but its stars are still making their media rounds.
Taraji P. Henson, who plays matriarch and HBIC Cookie on the FOX hit show, stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers last night to discuss her beloved character.
When asked if she channels Cookie in real life, Taraji answered with a laugh, “No, I hate that bitch! She’s stolen my identity! No one ever calls me by my name anymore! They call me ‘Cookie.'”
Taraji also revealed during their sit-down that she improvises quite often on set (“Boo Boo Kitty” and “Shut up, Dora!” were both impromptu).
