Taraji P. Henson Backtracks, Clarifies Her Stance on 'Guilty and Wrong' R. Kelly

Taraji P. Henson wants to make it clear that she does not support R. Kelly after comparing the boycotts of him and disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein.

In a since-deleted Instagram Story, the actress showed that more people promoted the #MuteRKelly hashtag and different versions of it on the social network than #MuteHarveyWeinstein and #MuteWeinstein.

Following an online backlash over her Instagram video, Taraji tweeted on Tuesday, “LET ME BE CLEAR R. KELLY IS GUILTY AND WRONG AND SHOULD BE MUTED PERIOD!!!!!”

Considering that Harvey Weinstein was at the center of the #MeToo movement and is set to stand trial for rape, Taraji’s questioning of the #MuteRKelly movement didn’t quite make sense.
