Although both Brittney Griner and Glory Johnson look to have already moved on, the estranged couple will have to remain married for now.
On Thursday, an Arizona judge rejected Brittney’s request to annul her 28-day marriage to Glory.
Because the court found no legal basis for an annulment, Brittney and Glory are heading to divorce court.
Brittney released the following short statement to PEOPLE:
“I respect the judge’s decision. We are moving forward with the divorce on a 28-day marriage.”
We’re sensing a bit of snark there…
After a whirlwind few months that included a domestic dispute and accusations of infidelity, we foresee Brittney and Glory’s divorce proceedings becoming messy, but at least Brittney has a new boo to see her through the difficult times that surely lie ahead.
