Kathy Griffin took a LOT of heat for the photo she took back in 2017 of herself holding a bloody, decapitated, head of an effigy of Donald Trump.
On Wednesday, Kathy posted the controversial image to Twitter to celebrate her 60th birthday.

The original picture sparked an uproar, and she was fired from her CNN gig co-hosting the network’s New Year’s Eve special with Anderson Cooper, who called the gruesome image “disgusting and completely inappropriate.”
In 2019, Griffin reflected on the fallout from the photoshoot: “I was on the no-fly list for two months, I was interrogated under oath … [Federal investigators] were considering very seriously charging me with the crime of conspiracy to assassinate the president of the United States.”
Looking back on the photo now in 2020, to you love muffins think Kathy was out of line?
