So Sad: Former NFL Player Antonio Armstrong and His Wife Dawn Shot and Killed by Their 16-Year-Old Son

Former NFL player Antonio Armstrong and his wife Dawn were found in the bedroom of their Texas home with gunshot wounds on Friday morning.

Dawn died at the scene while Antonio was pronounced dead hours later after being transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Their 16-year-old son called 911 and reported himself as the shooter. He’s since been charged with murder.

Family members have said there were no signs of trouble in the household before this tragic incident. The Armstrong’s daughter was home at the time of the shooting, but thankfully she was spared.
