Who knew that Snoop Dogg and Oprah still had beef?
Okay, well who knew that Snoop had issues with Oprah?
The dissonance between Oprah and the rapper stems from an episode of her talk show in 2007 about misogyny in hip-hop and Oprah called Snoop Dogg out as one of the main offenders.
Snoop was furious that Mama O didn’t give him the chance to come on the show to defend himself and let the world know he was no longer a fan. In an interview shortly after the whole debacle, Snoop said:
‘I don’t like her no more. I really was offended, because I kind of like her. Liked her. I’m very articulate, very intellectual. She didn’t even get a chance to even know me.’
It looks like the two have since put it all behind them. They met for the very first time at a pre-Oscar party over the weekend and took a moment to pose for a photo, along with Gayle.
Snoop captioned the photo, ‘Black History’.
