Two People Injured in Shooting at T.I. & Jeezy Event in North Carolina [Video]

Shots were fired during a promotional event headlined by T.I. and Jeezy in Charlotte, North Carolina, Saturday evening.

According to Captain J.D. Thomas of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, only two people were injured.

Two people [were] injured with gunshot wounds. One person drove themselves to the hospital, and one person was transported by ambulance. Both are non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred at popular nightclub Label, which released a statement shortly after the shooting.

Please be advised that an incident occurred this evening at Label following an event. The exact circumstances concerning the incident have yet to be determined. Officials at Label are cooperating with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department concerning their investigation of this matter. Tonight’s events at Label will take place as scheduled. It should be noted that there will continue to be very substantial security for all Label events during tournament weekend. And Label remains fully committed to the safety and security of its patrons.

No arrests have been made, and T.I. and Jeezy were unharmed.
