Pusha-T is gearing up to release his brand new album Daytona on Friday.
After unveiling the 7-song tracklist featuring guest appearances from Kanye West (who also produced the entire project) and Rick Ross, Pusha took to social media to unveil the album artwork.
That is a modified version of a photo of the late Whitney Houston’s crack-filled bathroom that was published in 2012.
In an interview with Angie Martinez, Pusha revealed that Kanye covered the $85,000 to secure the rights to the photo.
“I love it. I think it’s dope. I absolutely did not want to pay for it,” said Pusha.
This album is for my family…high taste level, luxury, drug raps fans. Literally this is nothing more than the outcome of our musical therapy sessions.
