Less than two weeks ago, Kanye West paid a visit to the University of Oxford where he delivered a somewhat uneven guest lecture to roughly 350 students.

During the lecture, Kanye admitted to being outshone on Monster by Nicki Minaj and even labeled the now-deceased Steve Jobs selfish.

Perhaps the most significant part during the lecture came when Kanye shared that President Obama calls his home phone.

“I understand that I’m a servant. And with my voice, with my ability to build relationships with amazing people, speak to amazing people. Call Elon Musk out of the blue, or call Obama out of the blue. He calls the home phone, by the way. With that, I have a responsibility to serve.”

Well, the president appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and refuted the rapper’s claim. In fact, he shared that he’s only met Kanye twice – once before he was even president.

Obama on Kanye:

“He was very soft-spoken, very gracious [when we met]. He was a young guy, hadn’t quite come into his own. I love his music; he’s incredibly creative. I don’t think I’ve got his home number.”

If you recall, Kanye created quite the stir when he told the hosts of The Breakfast Club that Beyoncé hangs photos of Kim on her studio walls while creating music.
