Plot Twist! Pusha-T Stops by ‘The Joe Budden Podcast,’ Says Drake’s BFF Noah ’40’ Shebib Is How He Found Out About Drake’s Son — Not Kanye West

Things have taken another interesting turn in the Kanye West/Drake/Pusha-T saga.

On last week’s episode of ‘The Shop,’ Drake sat next to LeBron James and told his version of events and why he was so upset with Kanye. According to Drake, Kanye took a confidential conversation they had about Drake’s son and ran it to Pusha-T.

Pusha’s been adamant all along that Kanye wasn’t his source, but on Wednesday’s episode of ‘The Joe Budden Podcast’ the rapper finally divulged how he got the information that eventually turned in to “The Story of Adidon.”

According to Pusha-T, Drake’s own BFF Noah ’40’ Shebib told all his personal business to a girl he was dating at the time.

“The information came from 40. It didn’t come from Kanye, at all. 40 is sleeping with a woman, who he talks to her daily. Five, six hours a day and ultimately speaks about how he’s disgruntled about certain things, notoriety and things involving Drake and his career, and so on and so forth,” the G.O.O.D. Music president said. “With that also came the fact that Drake has a child. With that also came the trip that everybody took to go see the child, and bring him gifts, and all this information. She divulged this information. That’s where it came from.”

“I can’t be in the studio when Drake’s there. I’m not allowed,” he continued. “When we go to Wyoming, I’m there from the first to the seventh. Next thing I hear, Drake’s here and he’s there for this many days. Everybody else can be there. I can’t because I don’t play neutral. You don’t get to shoot my homeboys, it’s not happening. Everybody not built like me. This is the music industry, this ain’t the streets.”

Pusha went on to say the reason he felt compelled to speak out is because of Drake’s The Shop cameo, which he believes unfairly took aim at and placed the blame upon Kanye West.

“Only reason I’m here now, for real for real, is because [Drake] was so passionate about the MS thing. And they did the backlight and they put the spotlight on his face, ‘When you said my friend,’ but your friend is the reason why. That’s how it came about. That narrative’s gotta die. Listen, it needs to die. It’s done. That narrative is done,” he proclaimed.

Pusha further weighed-in on what Drake had to say on LeBron’s show.

“I f*ck with the show, show’s a cool show, whatever the case may be. Great to see LeBron be opinionated.

With that being said, with that being said, Maverick ruined the whole show for me. It wasn’t authentic to me. The way he would alley-oop those questions to Drake were like, nuts. It was nuts. Then on top of that it was very biased and you didn’t even try to camouflage the biasness. It’s ok. I just thought it was crazy.

I don’t see how you could chime in so much and never mention “2 Birds, 1 Stone”, Cudi’s mental health issues, mentioning my wife, I don’t see how you could breeze or not say anything about any of those things. And then only speak about me wishing death on nobody, not that I care. Not that I care, let’s be clear. Now, with that being the case, ya know, I sit back and I think about it and I don’t like how the narrative has changed and not for nothing, it’s not true and I’m gonna be fair.”
