Chris Brown is speaking out in defense of his character after it was reported he failed to show up at a Black Gay Pride event in Atlanta — despite being in town.

I wasn't aware or informed of a show I supposedly cancelled. I have nothing but love and respect for the LGBT COMMUNITY.
