The Grammy Awards nominations went out this morning and low and behold Megan Thee Stallion is nominated for four awards — including Best New Artist.
Not long after the nominations were announced, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter to remind everyone that she lost the Best New Artist award she felt like she deserved.
To this date, Nicki does not have a single Grammy despite 10 nominations.
It’s unclear if her reason for singling out the ‘Best New Artist’ award has any connection to Megan Thee Stallion’s nomination, but considering she’s mentioning the fact that she ‘inspired a generation’ makes us think so.
