Nicki Minaj has responded to Steve Madden’s claims that the company never offered her a deal.

After the brand tweeted this morning calling her a liar, Nicki clapped back claiming Steve Madden came to her house.
She cited an interview in which Steve said he wanted to work with Nicki but they got into a fight before anything could come of it.

We’re not trying to nitpick here, but according to the interview a Steve Madden x Nicki deal imploded before it even got off the ground — which is slightly different than having one offered and turning it down.
