MSNBC anchor Alison Morris says she had a slip-up while reporting on Kobe Bryant’s death Sunday afternoon.
While speaking about Kobe’s death, Alison said what sounded like the N-word.

According to Alison, she didn’t say that N-word.She claimed that she goofed by mixing up the names of the New York Knicks and the Lakers, combining them to say something that sounded close to, but wasn’t the actual N-word.
Earlier today, while reporting on the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s passing, I unfortunately stuttered on air, combining the names of the Knicks and the Lakers to say “Nakers.” Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term. I apologize for the confusion this caused.
