MLB Star Yasiel Puig Tests Positive for COVID-19, Won’t Be Signing with Atlanta Braves

MLB star Yasiel Puig tested positive for the coronavirus.

Unfortunately for Yasiel, because he contracted the virus he won’t be able to sign his pending deal with the Atlanta Braves.

His deal with the Braves was never finalized and it was contingent on him passing a COVID-19 test, according to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal.

“Although I tested positive, I am asymptomatic, and I feel absolutely fine,” said Yasiel.

“I will be quarantined until I receive 2 negative test results, which I hope will arrive shortly.”
