A Georgia waitress took matters into her own hands after a male customer decided not to keep his hands to himself.

Emelia Holden was minding her own business, sorting menus in the patio dining room outside of Vinni Van Go-Go’s in Savannah, when a man walked by and groped her. In CCTV surveillance footage shared on Reddit this week, the 21-year-old waitress can be seen chasing the man down and slamming him against the wall.
She eventually manages to get him to sit and appears to give him a fairly heated lecture.
“I just did what I felt was best, I took the guy down and had my co-workers call the police,” Holden told LADBible. “As soon as the cops saw the CCTV footage, they immediately arrested the man. He sat in jail until Monday so in my opinion, he got what he deserved.”
Ryan Cherwinksi, 31 of Palm Beach Florida, was charged with sexual battery for the June 30 incident, Savannah Morning News reported. The original Reddit post, originally shared in the “Justice Served” thread, indicated the suspect was at the restaurant with his wife and two children at the time.
The video quickly made it to the front page of Reddit, with more than 50,000 upvotes. One commentor dubbed Holden’s efforts “the perfect response” while someone else said the waitress was her “new hero.”
