Jennifer Lawrence Thanks 'My Super Sweet Sixteen' in SAG Award Acceptance Speech

What a strange connection!

Jennifer Lawrence, of The Hunger Games, accepted her Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Lead Actress for her critically acclaimed role in Silver Linings Playbook and strangely enough began the speech by thanking MTV for giving her, her first real job as an actress.

“I’ll explain that. I earned my SAG card when I was 14, I did an MTV promo for My Super Sweet 16. And I remember getting it in the mail, and it being the best day in my entire life, because it officially made me a professional actor.”

Who would have known that just a few years later, the girl who did an MTV commercial would be accepting a SAG Award!
