HelloFresh Ends Partnership with Lea Michele After Samantha Ware’s Allegations of ‘Microaggressions’ on ‘Glee’ Set

HelloFresh, a weekly recipe-kit delivery service, has officially terminated their partnership with Lea Michele after learning of her former Glee co-star Samantha Ware‘s allegations against her.

Last week, Lea tweeted in support support the Black Lives Matter movement and said:

“George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end.”

Samantha replied to that tweet and wrote in all caps:

“LMAO remember when you made my first television gig a living hell?!?! Cause I’ll never forget. I believe you told everyone if [you] had the opportunity you would ‘shit in my wig!’ Amongst other traumatic microagressions that made me question a career in Hollywood…”

Lea has not responded to these allegations, but Samantha received support from other Glee co-stars after coming forward.

‘Glee’ co-star Alex Newell shared a “get her” GIF in response to Samantha’s tweet and shared many other GIFs in response to the allegations.

Amber Riley offered up a series of reaction tweets, ending it by posting a GIF of herself saying, “Let’s move on.” She captioned that final tweet, “#DefundThePolice #prosecutekillercops #BlackLivesMatter.”

After a fan questioned if HelloFresh is still working with Lea amid the allegations, they responded:

“HelloFresh does not condone racism nor discrimination of any kind. We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele. We take this very seriously, and have ended our partnership with Lea Michele, effective immediately.”

Lea‘s last partnership post with the brand was just one week ago.
