Safaree Samuels says he’s completely moved on from his relationship with Nicki Minaj and wants everyone else to do the same .

“I focus on myself and anything that has to do with my ex and just things like that, I just try to stay out of it,” the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star told Page Six on Monday.
Samuels, 37, dated Minaj, 35, from 2000 to 2014.
“At the end of the day when you’re with somebody for so long, they associate you with each other no matter what. Like every time something happens, you wanna know about things and it’s nobody’s business what I think. Just like it’s none of my business what’s going on because this is a situation that I’ve been away from for five years. I don’t think people realize it. I’ve been away from that situation for five years now doing my own thing.”
Now, he’s focusing on his new EP, “Love Chapter,” which revolves around his new experiences with love and relationships.
Samuels told us that he’s “madly in love” with a new woman, telling us that they were friends for quite some time before realizing that they should be together.
“When I’m not with her, I get headaches because I’m just thinking about her non-stop,” he gushed.
But we may not get to see her on “Love and Hip Hop” just yet, with Samuels teasing us that the upcoming season is “going to be a hell of a shocker.”
That was a very mature answer. We’re still not watching ‘Love and Hip Hop,’ though.
