It was announced in July that Kelly Rowland would join season two of Empire in a guest-starring role as Lucious Lyon’s mother, and although the news initially had folks scratching their heads, it made more sense once it was revealed that she’d be portraying Lucious’ mom in flashback scenes.
Well, now we have our first look of Kelly as Leah.
Kelly revealed the following tidbit about her character:
“Through watching Leah, we learn more about Lucious’s past.”
Well, that was pretty much a given.
