Dr. Dre’s Estranged Wife Can’t Grill His Alleged Mistresses In Their Divorce Proceedings — For Now

She tried, but Nicole Young won’t be able to legally grill three women she believes are Dr. Dre’s mistress about their relationships with her husband.

via The Blast:

According to reports, the Los Angeles Superior Court judge presiding over Nicole’s divorce from Dre decided not to rule on whether she is allowed to depose the three women Kili Anderson, Jillian Speer, and Crystal Rogers aka Crystal Sierra. The alleged mistresses have been fighting Nicole over subpoenas she issued. The subpoenas demand each woman sit for a lengthy deposition where she would have the opportunity to ask them questions about their relationship with Dre and if he purchased them any property with martial funds.

The judge in the case decided to refer the motion to a discovery referee who will make the final decision. It’s unclear how long it will take before a final decision is made.

In their opposition, the alleged mistress, who hired the same lawyer to represent them, argued the subpoenas should be quashed. They believe Nicole is trying to get the information she has no right to knowing with her subpoenas.

Their motion said Nicole was just trying to get information from them in an attempt to have her prenuptial agreement with Dre thrown out.

In court documents, the women say Nicole’s subpoenas, “seek information that she already has from third parties with no other relevant information, are nothing more than a continuation of Petitioner’s desperate efforts to annoy and harass Respondent into disregarding the parties prenuptial agreement and harass” them.

The battle continues in court. As The Blast previously reported, last year, Nicole filed for divorce from Dre after 24 years of marriage. In documents, she claimed they did not have a prenup because Dre tore up the paperwork a couple of years into their marriage. She believes she’s entitled to half of his $1 billion estates.

Dre fired back at the divorce laughing off Nicole’s claim he ripped up their agreement. The music mogul says he did no such thing and wants their agreement enforced in the divorce.

After the case was filed, the two have been going at it for months in court. Nicole lodged abuse claims against Dre. He denied the claims. He accused her of stealing money from one of his companies. She denied that accusation.

In recent documents, Nicole told the court she believed Dre purchased one of his mistresses a million-dollar home in Los Angeles. She wants answers about the property because she believes it was brought with community money.

Could this divorce get any messier than it already is?
