Dionne Warwick has confirmed that she’s working on a charity track with Chance The Rapper after the pair entertained fans with a friendly back and forth on Twitter last month.

Chance the Rapper and Dionne Warwick are getting in the studio together “very, very soon” for their upcoming charity single “Nothing’s Impossible.”
The newly crowned Queen of Twitter addressed her followers in a new video where she discussed the two charities being supported by their collaboration: SocialWorks, a Chicago-based nonprofit that Chance founded to empower the youth through the arts, education, and civic engagement, and Hunger: Not Impossible, a text-based service connecting kids and their families in need with prepaid, nutritious, to-go meals from local restaurants.
“Chance and I will be getting in the studio very, very soon. It’s gonna be a pleasure working with him and his organization called SocialWorks, as he’s working with mine, Hunger: Not Impossible,” Warwick said in a short Twitter video Thursday (Jan. 14). “We’re going to try to do some wonderful things for people that are desperately in need…. So keep your eyes and ears open, because we’re getting in that studio soon and we’re going to give you something that you cannot resist. OK?!”
The “Hot Shower” rapper shared her video and wrote, “THIS IS GOING TO BE SO GOOD FOR SO MANY!! THANK YOU DIONNE THE SINGER!! WE GON MAKE A DIFFERENCE WITH THIS ONE!!”
His message teased their iconic Twitter exchange from December when she asked him point blank, “Hi, @chancetherapper. If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this.”
“I am now Dionne the Singer,” she announced in a subsequent tweet. The name drop left the rapper rather speechless, but that’ll soon change when they finally start recording “Nothing’s Impossible” together.
Warwick previously announced that The Weeknd would join them on their charity single, but neither she nor Chance mentioned him in their announcement. TMZ reported last month that the song was written and produced by Warwick’s son, Damon Elliott, who said The Weeknd decided to hop on the collab after getting on the phone with Warwick and expressing how personal the issue of food insecurity is to him, considering the global superstar briefly experienced homelessness when he was younger.
