Ashanti‘s longtime stalker, Devar Hurd, has been found guilty after years of tormenting the singer. After the final hearings this week, Devar could face up to four years in prison. He represented himself in court on Thursday (for the third time) and Ashanti pleaded with him, saying,
“I wish you to stop. I just wish you to stop. You continuously tweeted over and over again disgusting, derogatory, disrespectful things to me after you had already gone to jail for doing the same thing.”
For years, Devar sent the 35-year-old singer and her family sexually driven tweets, and despite violating the restraining order against him, we’re relieved some act of justice is finally being served to him.
