We’ve already seen Pete Davidson’s cover-up of the tattoo he got to commemorate his relationship with Ariana Grande — and it looks like Ariana’s cover-up is similar.

While Ariana Grande might be grateful for her most recent ex, she doesn’t want his name tattooed on her forever. Grande posted a teaser image from her music video for “Thank U, Next” on her Instagram, and attentive fans noticed that the singer had covered up a tattoo of Pete Davidson‘s first name on her finger with a black heart.

Davidson also covered up a behind-the-ear tattoo, an interpretation of Grande’s Dangerous Woman bunny ears, with a black heart back in October.

The pair got several tattoos for each other during their four-month relationship. Grande had previously redid another Davidson-related tattoo on her hand, covering it with a feather.

“I have no words to describe how much I love and am eternally grateful for these human beings who constantly help me turn lemons into lemonade and literally heal me and put me back together,” she wrote in an Instagram story dedication in which she showed off the tattoo.

Through the covered-up tattoos, both stars have been reluctant to speak ill of their former partner. Grande, of course, turned her feelings into a smash-hit ode. Davidson put the kibosh on an Grande-related skit and addressed the talk head-on in a segment of Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update.”

“The truth is it’s nobody’s business,” Davidson said. “Sometimes things just don’t work out and that’s OK. She’s a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world.”

Maybe next time she’ll think twice before tattooing anything man-related on her body.
