Everyone who turned in to Beyoncé’s Lemonade visual album is now looking at Jay Z with a major side-eye.
In several of the songs, Beyoncé called out a husband’s infidelity. While she didn’t explicitly say Jay cheated on her, the writing is definitely on the wall.
In the song “Sorry,” Beyoncé blasts a lover who did her wrong and references a woman named Becky with “good hair.”
“So what are you gonna say at my funeral now that you’ve killed me? Here lies the body of the love of my life whose heart I broke without a gun to my head. Here lies the mother of my children both living and dead. Rest in peace my true love, who I took for granted. Most bomb pussy, who because of me sleep evaded. Her shroud is loneliness, her god was listening. Her heaven will be a love without betrayal. Ashes to ashes, dust to side chicks.”
Then, she’s joined by beautiful black women—including a twerking Serena Williams—before dropping the line “he better call Becky with the good hair.”
A few hours after the special finished, Rachel Roy — the woman Jay’s been accused of having an affair with for quite some time — posted an Instagram photo basically TAUNTING Beyoncé and Jay Z.
If you recall, that infamous 2014 elevator fight between Solange and Jay Z reportedly transpired because of Jay’s interaction with Rachel that night.
“Solange was defending Beyoncé in the elevator because Solange finds Jay’s friendship with Rachel to be WAY too close for comfort and it makes Solange very uncomfortable,” a source told Hollywood Life. “Beyoncé also confronted Rachel and said, ‘Don’t talk to my sister like that,’ after [Rachel] confronted Solange.”
Fast forward to last night, Rachel captioned her IG photo:
“Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. live in the light #nodramaqueens.”
That’s a pretty bold move, Rachel. That’s also how you get your ass whooped.
Update: Rachel has tweeted in her defense.
No truth at all to Jay Z and Rachel rumor, ridiculous!
