Kanye West shocked the world when he featured a nude model of Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Ray J in his controversial “Famous” video.

At first, Ray said he considered legal action — but now he’s deciding to respond using his ‘creativity.’

He’ll be releasing his own song and video called “Famous.”

via Billboard:

On Oct. 23, Overheard interviewed a shirtless Ray J, 35, at his North Hollywood studio — where, he said, he was about to get “angels and doves” tattooed on his chest — about the new album he’s set to release independently, Raydemption. It will be released as a visual album exclusively on the LookHu.com streaming platform.

“I really wasn’t going to put out another album because I was doing my tech and bikes,” he says of his Raytroniks company, which sells the electric Scoot-E-Bike. “But I went in the studio, and I felt like I was just connecting with the music. The bars started coming.”

The first single and video from Raydemption will be “Famous,” which features Chris Brown (whose look-alike was also in Kanye’s “Famous”) and will address West’s video of the same name. Although Ray J avoided mentioning The Life of Pablorapper and Kardashian, he said, “You can’t fault me and Chris for responding to all the things that have been done about us [in the media] over the last few months.”Ray J was at Brown’s Tarzana, California, home in August when the singer was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after a woman visiting his home accused the singer of pointing a gun at her.

LookHu CEO Byron Booker says Raydemption will be “a controversial record in which Ray sets the record straight, reclaims his power and moves forward.” He says the Mississippi-born singer, whose older sister is R&B artist Brandy, also has something to say about the 2003 sex tape he made with Kardashian and that Brown “is going to be talking about his rendezvous with certain celebrities in his past, as well as certain women that he helped catapult to fame.” According to Booker, the songs and video segments will also feature Justin Bieber, Snoop Dogg, The Game, Too Short and Kid Ink.

When Billboard asked Ray J — who married his Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood co-star Princess Love in August — if he stays in touch with Kardashian, he replied: “Shhh…. I’m married. Married men don’t do that. We don’t talk about women. I love my wife. Period. Period. Period.”
