A group of North Carolina women were captured on video throwing hands in a brawl while waiting for a traffic light.

The video, shot during a red light in the town of Mebane, was posted Tuesday on Twitter.
“Only in Mebane (N.C.),” wrote video poster Timia, who ostensibly had been driving behind the brawlers’ vehicles.
Four ladies initially are shown beating each other outside two cars stopped at an intersection. But after one of the women is tackled onto the asphalt, the fifth exits the vehicle, walks calmly to the scrum and begins hitting one of the defenseless victims people on the ground.
The video has generated more than 2 million views and has been retweeted over 16,000 times, as of Thursday.
Mebane, located in the north-central portion of the state, has a population of about 15,000 residents, according to the United States Census Bureau.
