Last night after Taylor Swift got exposed for lying about the Kanye West/”Famous” debacle, her bff Selena Gomez hopped on Twitter to try and defend her.
Not only did Selena’s defense fall completely flat, she completely insulted the Black Lives Matter movement and made matters worse.
She tweeted:

Let’s be clear that Selena’s not once ‘used her voice’ for anything ‘important’ — not Black Lives Matter, the senseless police shootings happening in the country, nor ..really anything for that matter.

After getting called out on her hypocrisy, Selena responded one critic and threw the BLM movement completely under the bus.
She later deleted the tweet. As of this writing, Selena’s Twitter mentions are still in shambles.
We’re pretty sure she wishes she would’ve stayed out of it.
