Terilyn Riggins of Orlando, Florida was busted for scamming her way into thousands of dollars to help friends & others get cosmetic surgeries.

“The plastic surgery was tummy tucks, breast implants, breast reductions, the Brazilian whatever — whatever you could get with plastic surgery, that’s what they were getting done,” said Orlando police Detective Todd Herb.

Herb has been investigating the ring and said he’s finally wrapping things up after nearly nine months.

During that time he arrested at least 14 women — mostly Pine Hills residents — and identified more than a dozen identity theft victims, he said.

All of the women are accused of using stolen identities to get — or attempt to get — plastic surgery or dental work at legitimate offices across Central Florida, according to a police report.

Some of the women racked up bills for more than $15,000, Herb said.

And at least nine of them have independently told him Riggins of Orlando helped them set up everything, he said.

Riggins, 28, was arrested in late March on charges of identity theft, scheme to defraud and grand theft of more than $20,000, court records show.

Herb described her as the ringleader, working “day and night” to set up the thefts using stolen personal information.

It’s unclear how Riggins got the victims’ info, but once she had it, Herb said she was able to get into their credit card accounts and add the other suspects as “authorized users.”

The women — who were friends, people she met online or in jail — sometimes paid Riggins a small fee, Herb said.

Others offered to do her hair or cook her food to set up the accounts, he said.

Wow. We have a hard time finding friends just to pick us up from the airport, let alone scam on our behalf!
