Oprah Winfrey isn’t afraid to say she experienced some difficulty working with Lindsay Lohan, but knowing Lindsay’s troubled past — we can’t say we didn’t see this one coming.
During a clip from Lindsay’s upcoming OWN reality series, Oprah said she should’ve listened to all of the warnings.
“This is exactly what everybody said was going to happen and I believed differently,” she said in the teaser. “She doesn’t understand. This is her life – you think you have forever.”
In one scene, Lindsay refuses to participate in a scheduled filming. Oprah wasn’t having it.
“My truth is, I really do want you to win … but if that isn’t what you want, I’m okay with that,” she told Lindsay. “I will tell these guys to pack up and leave today.”
The actress responded, “I know this is my last shot at doing what I have to do.”
It’s not all bad, however. They also showed a glimpse where Lindsay says shes finally ready to give up drugs and alcohol.
“There’s nothing left in having a drink for me. There’s no party I haven’t gone to, nobody I haven’t hung out with, no situation I haven’t been exposed to,” she said before admitting she feels like a prisoner “all the time.”
Lindsay’s eight-episode reality series will follow her post-rehab life as she tries to regain control of her career. It’s set to premiere on OWN on March 9th. Will you be watching?
