Titi Branch, co-founder of Miss Jessie’s natural hair care line, has died.
Family friends have confirmed the tragedy to the Washington Post. She was only 45 years old.
An obituary for Branch was posted to the Facebook page of NV Magazine.
Titi and her sister Miko launched Miss Jessie’s as one of the first natural hair care products on Target’s shelves. It wasn’t long before the company grew into an empire bigger than either of the girls could have imagined.
Ms. Branch is credited with creating Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding, one of the most popular products.
According to NV Magazine‘s obituary, Titi died from an “apparent suicide.”
So sad.
