The “Chun-Li” rapper, 38, clarified she did not ask to take part in the 2014 hit “Bang Bang” after her collaborator Jessie J made the claim in a recent interview with Glamour magazine.

“Babe @JessieJ I didn’t hear the song & ask 2get on it,” Minaj tweeted Thursday. “The label asked me2get on it & paid me.”

She then asked, “How would I have heard the song? Chiiille what am I the damn song monitor? Snoopin around for songs chile.”

Despite calling out Jessie, 33, for the misunderstanding, it appears Minaj still has love for her fellow entertainer as she wrapped up the tweet with a “Loveu” and kiss-face emoji.

However, the remark that prompted the rap queen to speak up on social media in the first place was Jessie’s claim that after she and Ariana Grande jumped on the track, Minaj listened to it in the studio and said, “I’ve got to jump on this.”

“We didn’t go to her and ask; she wanted to do it,” the “Price Tag” singer told Glamour. “I’ll never forget: I was in my bedroom in my flat in London, and I got sent the verse with Nicki on it. I just sat at the end of my bed holding my phone, staring at the floor, going, ‘How the f–k did I get this?’”

Grande, 28, who also sang a verse on the hit record, has not chimed in on the back-and-forth on social media. Jessie has also not replied to Minaj’s tweet.

A rep for the “Domino” singer did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Meanwhile, many people on social media thought it was “unnecessary” and “rude” of Minaj to call out Jessie.

“I am not gonna lie but you really cannot stand the thought of other female artists now can you. This was so unnecessary and rude,” one person wrote, receiving over 300 “likes.”

Another fan, who got more than 400 likes, commented, “Nicki how are you so successful but still so thirsty? S–t is beyond me. Be happy in your success and stop this.”

In the Glamour interview, Jessie also shared how each of the women were “big-ing each other up” when they met for the first time on the set of the music video.

“It was such a celebratory moment,” she said. “All of us were just giggling and enjoying being around each other. It was great.”

“Bang Bang” debuted at No. 6 and later peaked at No. 3 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Jessie J will probably come out today and clean up the statement.
