President Obama used the n-word during an interview for the podcast WTF with Marc Maron — and people don’t know how to feel.
His use of the word came in the context of discussing racism and the race issue was still have in this country.
He said:
‘Racism, we are not cured of it. And it’s not just a matter of it not being polite to say n****r in public. That’s not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It’s not just a matter of overt discrimination.
‘Societies don’t overnight completely erase everything that happened 200 to 300 years prior.’
Of course, people across the country aren’t reacting to his very valid points — but because he straight-up said the n-word.
Like ‘We must be so evolved racially as a country so that when President Obama says the n-word it’s not jarring to us!’ Uh, what?

So. Tired. Of. The. Dumb-down.
More interested in the fact that Obama used "n-word" in an illustration of a point than the point itself.

Oh, so Obama can say the N word, but I'm not allowed to scream it at NBA games? #wtfobama
