Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt Pat Houston is speaking out for the first time since her niece, Bobbi Kristina Brown, died in July.
via People:
“When we really found out that Krissy was in trouble, we were really making plans to do something about it,” Houston tells Entertainment Tonight in a new interview, airing Monday. “But it came too late.”
Last year, Houston filed a restraining order against Brown’s boyfriend Nick Gordon, who is currently being being sued by his late girlfriend’s conservator for allegedly causing her death.
“Ms. Brown died due to a violent altercation with Defendant (Gordon) after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture,” reads the latest filing.
“External attraction can really cause problems,” Houston says about the young couple’s relationship.
“Where the world saw that she was angry and mad at me, she was texting me all along. I really tried to show her [that] I’m going to do this to let you know that you don’t have to be afraid of anything. I got you.”
Watch a clip from her interview below. We havea feeling it’s only a matter of time before Leola Brown shares her piece on what Ms. Pat had to say.
