Beyoncé and Jay Z often receive a lot of flack for not ‘doing enough’ to help the Black community — but according to Dream Hampton, they do a lot more than we know.
In a series of tweets, Hampton — a social justice organizer, filmmaker, and writer, revealed that Bey and Jay have privately contributed thousands of dollars to help post bail for #BlackLivesMatter protestors in addition to other large monetary donations that are “too much to list.”
