Victorie Franklin Tributes Her Grandmother Aretha at 2014 BET Honors [Photos]

Is Victorie Franklin following in her grandmother’s footsteps?

All signs point to yes as the young singer hit the stage to perform Tamela Mann’s “Take Me to the King” in honor of her grandmother.

Aretha has been giving Victorie one-on-one vocal coaching and she thinks Victorie has a rather bright future and a big career ahead of her.

Victorie was seen posing backstage with her father KPoint Franklin, Aretha’s son

She spoke about her granddaughter recently, saying: ‘She’s coming along very well. I came down to see her rehearse, and she brought tears to my eyes.’

We can’t wait to watch her performance!

Check out a few more photos from the event below.

The BET Honors airs Feb 24th.
