Say What Now? Mother Arrested After Encouraging Daughter to Fight Another Girl for Calling Her the N-Word [Video]

An Oklahoma mother has been accused of encouraging her teenage daughter to beat up another girl in an attack that was caught on camera and later posted on Facebook.

Alicia White, 38, of Binger, has been arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor in connection to the July 10 altercation between her daughter, Aliyah, and 15-year-old Whitney Irvin.

The video of the savage beating that played out in front of a Mexican restaurant on Main Street was posted on Facebook, but has since been removed.

In a sworn affidavit, Binger police officer Bobby Lynn said that the victim, Whitney Irvin, told him what happened, but it was not until he watched the 2-minute video on Facebook that he determined that a crime had taken place.

According to the officer, when interviewed by police about the fight, Alicia White told him that ‘that is how they handled things when she was growing up and that she thought it served Whitney right for taking about her daughter and calling her names such as the N-word.’

The 38-year-old mother could face up to one year in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000 if convicted of misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of minors.

Following the altercation, Aliyah White told News9 that she had been feuding with Whitney for several weeks and explained that last week she snapped after hearing the 15-year-old hurling racial slurs at her.

On her part, Irvin has denied being racist, adding that she had been friends with Aliyah before the argument, which started over a boy.
