Although season six was shrouded in secrecy leading up to its premiere, Ryan Murphy appeared on Watch What Happens Live Wednesday and dished on what viewers can expect when American Horror Story returns for its seventh season.
According to Ryan, season seven of the horror anthology series will focus on the 2016 election.
“I don’t have a title, but the season that we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. I think that will be interesting for a lot of people,” said Ryan.
When asked if Donald Trump will serve as a character in the upcoming season, Ryan replied, “Maybe.”
